How many of the 11 pockets do you actually use?I wear 5.11 pants everyday. Much more practical than jeans, and after 1000 wash cycles, still together and not torn in any way. Well, besides any holes from MIG welding or the plasma.
Cargo pants/shorts never went out of style and no matter what brand jeans I was getting, they would only last about 9 months with regular use.

Pants are a wear item. No pun intended.
You only wash shirts and under garments. Pants are clean unless they are visibly grimy or stink.Seriously I was sad when my last pair finally disintegrated because it meant I had to kill a pair that I liked wearing. I've got like 3 pairs of shorts I rotate through when it's warmer.

Their durability is pretty good from what I’ve experienced so far. Fit is excellent and comfort is almost as good as BlackhawkHa, thought 5.11 was all marketing hype so I never believe they were better than normal pants
Buyer not a builder. Remember? Hahaha. Of course work pants get washed. But day to day, my pants don’t get dirty. You've never actually worked on a truck have you?
Dickies is all you'll ever need shorts and pants .. problem solved
Have you tried the Duluth trading pants ? I wanna give them a try but fuck are they expensiveCarhartt bro. Double knee is the only way to go. I get mine from Sierra Trading Post for 22 bucks a pair delivered.
Here's a pro tip. Never buy shorts. Eventually, even double knee pants wear through if you actually work for a living. Once they do, cut the legs off and convert them to shorts. If you get real fancy you can even hem them so cotton threads don't get fucking everywhere. lol
