Always thought these were overpriced bling but when compared to a set of $1500 shocks it might be a worthwhile 1 time payment insurance policy. Could probably weld a nut to 1 side and just tamper proof the bolt head and protect more shocks that way.

Always thought these were overpriced bling but when compared to a set of $1500 shocks it might be a worthwhile 1 time payment insurance policy. Could probably weld a nut to 1 side and just tamper proof the bolt head and protect more shocks that way.

Or just not run Kings. That seems to be the big winner right now. Everyone has them, everyone is looking for a deal on them. ADS ftw. They look like Bilstein from a distance. Haha.

Good GOD!!! Every time I LOOK at this picture :mad:... I can be the nicest guy on the planet and give the shirt off my back or jacket in the cold, but I can honestly say, don't back me in a corner and think I will go down easy. They just need to bring back public hangings and what not!!! Simple as that!!! My truck has been targeted many times over including theft. FU**, I go to park it on the street here in HB and come back about an hour or two later and I see a note on the truck saying that, "I really like your truck and interested in buying it..." and I'm like, "will you F'N PEOPLE just leave my F'N SHI* ALONE!!!" F... M... L...!!! :doh::mad:

That is a note, this was a theft, but the point simply being is that it just gets really F'N OLD... QUICK!!!

I used to have a couple of E30 BMWs and just before they got super popular a few years back I got a note on one that said the guy was interested in buying it and to call him.
So I called and he said, “I wanna offer $750.”
I said, “I’d like $3k.”
He’s all like, “no way it’s worth that.”
“It is to me, if you really wanted to buy it, you’d have a legitimate offer instead of insulting me with penny’s”

Your note is almost word for word what my note said.

I didn't call the guy back though. It was an a$$ thing for me for not calling back for, at least, the common courtesy thing to do.

It was just that after so many break-ins, I was just DONE!!! They're long stories, with the first theft was on me. But the others were "smash and grab types", but yet nothing was left out in the open or anything? I was simply targeted and planning on a setup to catch the a$$, but finally had the opportunity to move. THEN, the Huntington Beach note about a month later?!

That is why I was upset with even just a "friendly note".

breezy here in Redlands... hasn't really warmed up yet. we're next to the fires, no smoke but yesterday black ash was raining down like crazy. big pieces.
