Yeah they are going to check her into the pediatric ward and either my wife or I can stay with her overnight.

Good news is the ultrasound looked fine so no emergency appendix removal.
Though that would make a cool story later.

My wife switched with me earlier so I could go get some food.
At home with our 3yo and my mom right now.

Oof. So tough for a kid, tramatic on top of the physical. Remember, this is only temporary, and better times are ahead.

Been away for a while. Not much in the way of off-roading in Kentucky without having an off road rig and knowing locals who know of any spots. Been doing a lot of fishing and drinking bourbon instead.

Heading back to California for the first time since KOH for the holiday week to go to Havasu. Also planning on trying to get my motor swapped that I blew at the hammers so I am good to go for next year’s hammers.

I am planning a night run to Hammertown on Friday the 10th with my KOH peeps if anybody is interested in some shenanigans in the empty desert.

They'll be home just in time for the work week! Lazy kids these days, will do anything to get outta chores.

I'd call that good news. Only a few days, hopefully no lasting ills. It's terrible being in a hospital right now. At least you can visit. Could you imagine not being allowed in to visit? Unreal.

yeah we were gonna have a problem if they wouldn’t let me or my stay with her.

thankfully one of us can be here at a time.

It can most definitely happen! Buddy of mine just ignored the pain when he peed until he basically dropped one day. Ended up in the hospital with exactly that, a UTI that infected his kidneys. Some drugs and time and he is good as new.

@oni06 I hope your kiddo has a speedy recovery!

I know it all too well because my mom would get it from time to time and it made me feel bad because I didn't know if "I" was doing something wrong while it was "my watch".

Now, I don't have to worry. :sad:

Kinda brave to be out there during the day this time of year. We did a night run on July 3rd last year and had the entire place to ourselves. I’ll hit you up if this ends up happening and you probably already know what vehicles we’ll be in.

Yeah last year we went out the 6th-7th. We got really lucky and the weather was really decent. Sorta hot during the day, and perfect at night. That area can be absolutely miserable during the day though.

Take a vacation then!

I'm headed back up to Oregon from Friday to Tuesday. Much needed vacation but also a little stressed since I'm busy as fuck at work right now. Not the worst problems to have, but still stresses me out.

Anyone interested or know someone interested in a entry level job in the mortgage industry within driving distance to Redlands everyday? I'll be hiring soon. $17/hr starting plus bonuses. :help:
