Super heated gases that condense as they go up. Once they cool enough to reach their flammable limits they ignite. It's impressive shit to see. During the Round Fire in Swall Meadows 4 years ago I watched 400 foot high flame columns go up over the Wheeler Crest. The fire itself never got with 200 feet of the crest.

Big ass flames. They are headed up Yucaipa ridge. Further away from me but feels so close with how big the flames are.

I wouldn't trade it in because of injector issues.

I'm 30miles away zooming in on a camera phone.

It looks like it died down along the ridge, but the smoke shifted around to the right places and allowed the flames to illuminate the whole column to where it starts to spread out horizontally in the atmosphere, super spooky seeing a red glow extending up to what 15-20k feet in the air?

Glad it's going in the other direction, but I was really hoping the east side of Beaumont was gonna go up in flames. Glad my kid isn't there this weekend. I'd be sleeping in Steven's driveway just to be near him in case shit hit the fan.
