You carry a fixed blade?
it’s stupid about the law being only about concealed, you can legally carry a samurai sword on your back and that’s totally legal, but putting one in your pocket is a crime... talk about stupid. No length limits on any knife besides autos. No dual edged knifes, buttery/gravity knifes or daggers either. Our laws are weird but not very practical.

No, it's my Kershaw folding knife I usually have. Doesn't matter if it's fixed blade or not, if the blade side is inside your pocket it's considered concealed.

I’ve been pulled over and had that cold steel on me.
I keep my wallet in my cargo pocket and had my knife clipped on the same pocket.
Told the officer “I have a folding knife on the same pocket my wallet is in so I’m going to pull it out and let it fall to the floor, ok?”
He says, “no problem”
Then I got my $260 ticket for 9mph over going down a hill with no one within sight around me.

Thats a bullshit ticket.
I had something similar happen to me.
I was going up hill and CHP was apparently following me in my blind spot and my wife told me he was there after we crested a hill and well you know "gravity" and the truck speed up a bit.

Dude pulled me over and said I disrespected him by pulling away.

He also kept asking me if I had any weapons in the car because there was brass in the bed of a trip from the range the other day.

I think I have told this story here before or maybe back on #FuckTW.

Anyway .. bullshit tickets.

Also no one else was around.

I looked up a couple knives mentioned and now I have found more shit to add to the wish list. I carry a small beater knife at work (Warehouse day to day usage) that I don’t care about messing up, the CRKT Drifter. Big 5 special for like $15! Now interested in higher end knives to EDC outside work. I like the mini Griptilian since it’s smaller/ sleeker. I don’t think I could use it at work for fear of damaging the blade but it’s a nice knife.

Also looked at the Bugout and saw a funny review video that the guy hated it compared to the 940(?). Fidgety dude for sure! Seems like a nice knife for the money.

I couldn't finish watching that.
I just got the feeling he was being a whiny little bitch

Yeah,
I asked if we could settle as a warning since I haven’t had a ticket in over 8 years but he wasn’t havin none of it.
I see him regularly so now I just honk or flash brights at him and wave.
He obviously needed a friend that day and he made one.

Talking about knife, I feel empty if I don’t carry one of this with me. My personal fav is the bugout, second it Perdue. Bailout also came out not to long ago, and I dig it, since I don’t own a tanto folder.View attachment 11078
What is the fixed blade? I really want to pull the trigger on a bugout, and that is the color scheme I want. It’s the same as my griptilian but it’s around $30 more. I think I may just go with the base blue

But in CA a folder can be concealed, but a fixed blade cannot.
Anyone use the ring door bell and are they worth the money ?
I got one for a housewarming gift. It’s pretty nice. I’d like to get some of their cameras for the driveway and backyard.

thats because fixed blade most of the time has longer blade vs folder. some fixed blade you can concealed carry as long as the blade is not longer than the size of your palm

Wonder when that changed. I got yelled at by a cop in my early 20s because he said it was considered a concealed weapon, even if the clip was showing on the outside of my pocket.

How did he know you had it if it was “concealed”
