Getting ready to do the spark plugs ... any specific brand I should be looking at or go get them at the dealership
The denso plugs from the dealership are reasonably priced last time I bought plugs.
(Granted that was back in 2014....)

I'm more of an NGK guy myself. Local parts store is probably the best. Don't forget the copper anti-seize.

I get mine on Amazon. Dealership is roughly the same price.

I never buy plugs on amazon just because I don't trust the handling. It's just a stock taco motor, but if you drop a plug on the ground for a sensitive motor like something with a turbo you run the risk of your electrode breaking off of iridium plugs.

Copper plugs, I just give them a quick visual inspection and check the gap before installing. Hard to bust a copper electrode.

Cool ima try n tackle it on sat

I miss the days when it was just spark plugs, or an oil change.

Finished up the axle swaps and re-gearing on my dad's TJ 2 weeks ago. And then started on the next project the next day on my tacoma.

Raced the sun going down after work and pulled a donor 5VZ-FE from the junkyard a few weeks ago in about 2 hours. Pulled the original 5VZ out of my first gen a few days later. Did most of the prep work and installed AC, PS, and alternator today, as well as plugs. Rear main, clutch/flywheel, and misc. shit tomorrow. Hopefully get engine dropped in by the weekend.

I leave CA for KY for good Thanksgiving weekend, and my window of time to get shit done is at a critical point now. Definitely under the gun with several more vehicle projects to go.
