You’re someone that I enjoy making laugh or groan or both at the same time :beerscheers:
HAHAHAHA, this April fools one got me heated I'll tell you that!!!:rofl::rofl: I was so upset at the F'N world that day. I was stressn' over the UI BS and worried about money flow WAY MORE than this virus shi* going on.

What I don't get, YOU for example, are at SERIOUS HIGH RISK, whereas the average putz like me, I'm at such low risk... I can't even come up with a one liner it's that low of a risk!!!

With that said above, I work with people that are so F'N paranoid it's SAD and EXTREMELY LAME!!! But, in order for me to stay as an employee I need to play the role in wearing a mask and the 6ft thing.

I havent cashed them and they told me not to rip them up either
I need to wait because, technically, I got overPAID, and it wasn't even my fault. The EDD just paid people and they didn't give a shi* about certifying the benies!!!

So, thanks to them, I will be owing them and that is the next step I need to take care of.

Anyways, I honestly wouldn't cash them in if I were you. But, that's just me brotha!!!

So a newer co-worker asked me a couple weeks ago how I dealt with being on the Covid floors, if I was scared. I told him no because I’ve been dead inside for years

Just recently I had a convo with a friend who’s fed up with the masks, the lines, the whole situation. This was my response :

Damn man. You let the force of slim flow through you on that one. Well said thought. It's just luck of the draw.

I tried to keep emotion out of it. Some people will read that and think “well duh” some will go “ah, that’s why” and some will think “other people getting sick isn’t my problem”

Societally this is everyone’s problem.

Here’s the thing with the luck part: you might be lucky but if you end up spreading the disease then you’re forcing people you come in contact with to try theirs also

Why do you think it's against personal liberties? All 50 states have mandatory Hep B, MMR, and Polio vaccinations for children to attend kindergarten. That can easily be used as a precedent for states to require the testing. If a vaccine comes out tomorrow how many anti-vaxxers do you think will change sides and beg for one? People want this shit to be over with. If nation wide testing becomes available I think only a small percentage will wave the fucking civil liberties flag. Those that do will be shamed into oblivion.

I don't think that testing will stop this thing but I'm all for it if and when we can produce enough tests for the general populace. It will help but we just don't know enough about COVID-19 yet. There's been cases of reinfection. NY state tested a random group a couple weeks back and found 14% of the 3000 sample group where asymptomatic. Lots and lots of unknowns.

The personal liberties thing is what we give up part of for the benefit of society as a whole. The anti-vaxxers is a great example of how a minority that wants to do whatever the fuck they want can end up hurting others because they want to “do what they want”

Never said I'm tired of the mask thing or even the distancing, but what I am trying to say is that I'm NOT overly paranoid like most of these douche bags because the risk to me is very low compared to people like you.

The people/dudes coming in, I don't know how they contracted it, like the many thousands of others so fast???... likely being F'N IDIOTS???!!! Who KNOWS??? :noidea:

I just make myself aware of the situation and try to plan ahead accordingly. Like I said, my only stress about this whole F***ED situation was cash flow because I knew way in advance I'd be screwed and since I've never had to go on EDD, I had no idea how it all worked and knew it would be a painfully slow process given the obvious.

Anyways, totally get and understand the ones that are at higher risk.

Personal Liberty also come with Social Responsibility.

When people can't be responsible is when big government boot lickers use that as an excuse to drop a ban hammer on everyone else.
This results in personal liberties being forcefully restricted temporarily and/or permanently.

Anyone want a home-brew MOLLE panel?? not the highest caliber but someone might find it useful. It worked great for 5+ years, held about 75lbs worth of truck crap. Upgraded to a cnc alum version. It helped immensely with dampening the road noise that comes from the back of the cab. Added the webbing to make it useful. This is for a 2014 tacoma double cab 60/40 so should work 2011-2015 years.

Nylon webbing, zip ties. My hands were a mess for a week after this. Can't throw away all that pain and misery if someone can use it. haha

edit: yes, the spacing is correct for MOLLE pouches, etc. I used a spacer for the loops and measured everything out like the nerd that I am.

Yup, so the people who aren’t socially responsible are ruining it for everyone else

This is the kind of thing I’d hang up in the garage on the side of a rack

Yes they are.
At the same time our "elected" officials first reaction shouldn't be to add laws to the book.

As a society we have moved to a point where we think the government must "do something" for every little thing.

Anyway .. Stay Safe
Oh yeah this society is so entitled that Karen will demand something is done about it instead doing something about it ourselves. I know the Asians (not necessarily Chinese) started wearing masks way before anyone else due to being cautious.

Japanese have worn masks during flu season for as long as I can remember.

even if they weren’t sick they still wore a mask.
