You believe in things that are tangible, that’s not actually believing and understanding science That’s like saying you understand how things work because you use an iPhone.

You’ve already pointed out that you don’t believe in climate change or that the sea level is rising.
Still waiting to hear about what you have personally done to lower your carbon footprint.
Hybrid?
Solar?
Heat exchanger?
Water reclamation?
If none of those then start by shutting the fuck up because all you are doing is contributing to the problem by talking out your ass.
I’m the last ten years I have probably done more for the environment by lowering our footprint than your preaching ass has so how can you say what you said above. Ohh it doesn’t count because I don’t believe and nod my head up and down when you spew self righteous nonsense without personal sacrifice. Listen for once and shut the fuck up.

I’ve learned through this collection of most interesting men (and woman) in America that I am guilty of the MSM and social media sound-bite phenomenon steering my brain into weird places. It’s been a learning experience listening to the other side.

trailers need to be in the far right (slowest 2) lanes and can only use the 3rd lane over IF its a 4 lane interstate from what i remember. this was a 6 lane section (including carpool, zero merging onramps) he was passing everyone in the #3, 4 and 5 lanes. and hes a CA local so....anyways. ill take the over reaction lol.
Yeah #4 & 5 lanes are more than a trailer really should be going in. Rarely should they ever be in #3 lane either. 1-2 lanes are for trailers and slower traffic. People are dumb

You let me know when I can drive my rig on nuclear energy and we'll continue this conversation.

Nuclear energy creates power-> power goes through power lines and into your battery. Or you use the power to create hydrogen and store it in a fuel cell.

Still waiting to hear about what you have personally done to lower your carbon footprint.

You mean by like actually riding a bicycle places and not consuming energy?

All of those things you spoke of are better served by a reduction in consumption to begin with. Those hybrid cars don't just magically show up on your door step, you have to dig the minerals out of the earth.

A heat exchanger? I don't have A/C and never use heat.

Water reclamation? A) It never rains in San Diego and B) I don't have any thing to water unless you want me to pour rain water in a toilet.

Seems like you're missing the major component of the Reduce->Reuse->Recycle.

I see what you did there.

I'm genuinely curious how you did the mental gymnastics to come up with that. You guys keep coming up with the idea that I've chastised someone for having a gasoline or diesel powered car.

I mean don't actually inject logic into this.

So how do I run my rig, a 97 4Runner with the 5vz-fe, on hydrogen? Your either ignoring or missing my point. The world is still currently dependent on oil. ANWR is huge and has 10B gallons. We should have already drilled it.

As far as your point about the Native Alaskans protesting ANWR drilling goes. Look up the Alaskan Native Claims Settlement Act. The indigenous peoples of AK have made billions off of oil and continue to do so. The 250 person village of Kaktovik is the only village that will be directly affected by ANWR. A lot of those 250 are actually for drilling ANWR because it will bring them income.

BTW, I've actually been to ANWR and understand the true scale and size of what I'm talking about. I'm talking about oil just so you don't get confused again.

this isn't about how much or why or how...nor is it an
environmental awareness and carbon neutrality pissing contest. We need to ask, is this the best I can do and can I help others or get help doing more?

We all can't be infinity negative carbon al gore neutral because rich fucks can just buy their way in and shame/guilt everyone into not doing more. We live in different places with different infrastructure for handling utilities and waste systems. We all can do better and worse and the take away here is not division, it's co-operation.
