About to reassemble the leafs and I'm missing ONE of the ~2mm insulators that ride the pin at the center of the pack. Anyone around Eastern Inland Empire that has one?? Shit creek without a paddle...checked vatozone and irishauto and no dice.

This is for a dakar pack, doing an add a leaf...DOH!

all the other leafs have thinner sheets between them. isolators. they are consumables but not installin causes squeaks and other fun noises. have new yellow pads from Headstrong. Had to cut the leafs and will have to tap some new holes. damnit wish my drill press was usable. brand new but it needs a stand (discount damaged deal)

holy shit balls that sucked. only got one side done?! arghhh

stupid low ceiling in garage (less than 7ft at back) and the truck has bigger tires now. I couldn't get the leaf reinstalled! 17" instead of 16" wheels now with different backspacing and the icing on the heavy metal cake...lugs need thin wall sockets that are currently loaned out atm. did it with the wheel on, and not enough space to install because the pack is bigger (you see how bad of a shit salad this turned out). Oh, couldn't move the truck because the rear axle is dangling in the breeze.

moment of genius and danger. took a 2.5" old galvi pipe and put it between the eyes of the pack. bailing wire around the ends to keep it from jumping and used a ratchet strap to flatten the pack out...the now HD pack. f me. sketchy is understatement.

made a list for tomorrow....
FIRST one: GET A HELPER
Second: Thin wall sockets
Third: I need a barn!
