So what does crawl control actually do?

Crawl Control is (by use of sensors) adjusts each wheel’s output based on the condition of the terrain. In sand, for example, it’s easy for a truck to dig deeper and get stuck. each wheel works independently to help dig their way out.

I rarely use it but it got me unstuck from a wash the other day.

Not sure what exactly makes all the buzzing noises, but when it's on, it has this jacked up, 'somethings broken' sound.
