Universal LT double shear kit!!

CF021CBE-ACEB-4660-8043-1B875F5E994A.jpg

Just picked these up... we now have steering extensions for our double shear kits in 3 sizes.

stock length
2.25”
4”

The 2.25 will work with any 2.5” LT kit and the 4” will work with a 3.5” LT kit.

so basically no matter what kit you have you can run the double shear kit to your factory inner tie rods

Is it fully electric? Or is it electric/hydraulic?
All electric would be super easy to setup with just running some cables.

(This would b on an SAS not R&P) Just thinking out loud, what about setting up full hydro with a steering box that one could add and remove the drag link for wheeling vs hwy driving. U would get the redundancy for hwy with small amounts of travel and high speeds "just in-case".

Return to center Orbital

"All of Trail-Gear’s orbitals (steering control valves) have a built in return-to-center function." (Not a fan of TG parts)
From my research as I understand this isn't really true? the return part has more to do with the way ur alignment is set up and balanced fluid amounts in each side of the Ram/hydo system, TG is the only company that lists return-to-center function that I have found so far (haven't done a ton of research).

I’m Not full hydro but most trophy truck/spec tt class use howe. Another option is trail gear as well. I ran a trail gear Toyota box with no issues besides a small leak after years of abuse. Just went to a psc big bore tj box. Mine hasn’t had issues but my dads brand new psc one leaked right out of the box. Howe is who the big guys use though.

Most of the stuff I read up on said PSC for rock crawling... Just bought all PSC to go full hydro so hopefully made the right call. I was reading up on caster numbers for return to center and I have found anywhere from normal 5-8 degs all the way to 32 deg so...

Im not full hydro but only hydro assist. I went with about 7.5-8 degrees of caster with no issues on return to center or death wobble etc.
