Tested the cases with no driveshafts in and everything appears to be working properly and no weird noises, still have a bunch of time consuming little bullshits to take care of, should be back rolling hopefully tomorrow morning after I get some shorter limit straps for the front and install them.

Good news. I'm still debating doing half the drive Thursday after work. I might just wake up early Friday and do it all. What time do you think you'll be able to get to Shaver Lake? Maybe we should just meet there.

Also, for a site that is hardcore, it's sure as shit been the Andy and Matt show this summer when it comes to Cali wheeling. Who else wants in on this trip?

I wanna wheel, I just can't. Officially on crunch time for the job search and the jobs I've been applying for aren't biting. That combined with lawyer's fees got me on a tight budget, especially with the chance of breaking shit.

Supposed to take 5.5 hours. I'll leave around 7AM, so if everything goes smooth on the drive up, I'll be there by 1PM. If I have some truck issues I need to check on the way, 2pm or 3pm at the latest.

Life happens man. I get it. Let's plan an Oct trip. Something overlandish. That will probably draw more interest from some other guys. What DV trails have you not done that you want to do?

I still haven't done north pass (steel pass?) to the springs. Echo pass in the east. Briggs camp or chicken rock. Have done quite a bit of death valley otherwise. October should be good. I'll know what my lawyer is gonna cost me after Sept 25th. It's either gonna be a one and done and I get half my money back or it's gonna go on and I dump more.

I've been applying to places, but I'm not having much luck.

If I leave Friday morning and go the southern route I can be in Bakersfield by 10ish. If your worried about rig issues, I always am, we could just meet there and caravan it up. It's a longer drive for me but time wise it's actual close to the same as going through Yosemite.

I would go, but my rig is chopped up prepping for Dusy. At least I have a good excuse as to why I won’t be there. @Mike_taco4x4 and @Hank not so much.

How hard can that possibly take with a 7 mag Remington? Unless he's bow hunting there no reason not to make it. Lol

Guess it depends whether he can find one or not first.

And I have no idea if he's bow hunting or not. Probably is my guess because he's been practicing.

You could have chopped up your trailer queen after Swamp Lake. I think your scared now that Andy and I both have dual cases and RCV CV's. Now that I said that I wonder what I'll break this weekend? lol

Just got done with the pre-rig check. Everything looks good including the fluid level in my cases. I also greased my driveshafts. The amount of ugly shit that came out was more then I wanted. Mental note: Grease shafts ASAP after deep muddy water crossings.

Pretty soon all guns will be banned and ill have a safe full of bows instead

Bows are silent and deadly. It's just hard to launch 600 arrows a minute. lol
