Who is planning on going?

I will be heading out on Thursday evening, Feb. 28. and returning on Sunday, March 3.

This year I will be keeping it more low-key since most of my regular group that came out for KOH has a wedding to attend. The people I am camping with are more mild and do wheel more, and our camp is away from the notches.

Most likely will be in this area, which is close enough to the obstacle course and a decent drive to the notches.

Still not entirely sure if I’m going or not this year. Gotta figure out if I’m busy or not that weekend

KOH is that event that is heard about worldwide and is a legitimate bucket list thing for a lot of people who have a long way to travel and are not as fortunate as us to be considered “locals”.

TDS has a different set if demographics that perpetuates and confirms stereotypes, but still a trainwreck type of spectacle that makes it worth going to.

Got a group of idiots coming along with me. Still figuring out how many and when we're leaving. Was thinking about camping with you guys but this group is a bit wild

That is fine with me. The people that normally stay with me, and were with me at KOH and the time you met up with me at TDS, have a wedding to go to. So I am staying in the camp with another group that I usually go to glamis with.

You think your friends will be fine with it? I took some of these guys to Superstition and they were too rowdy to camp with the tw group . Is that guy with the big Chevy going?

Sounds like it might be wet this weekend. That should make things interesting.
I’m not a big fan of that place when it’s really wet. A little wet isn’t bad but when it rains hard, the mud is nasty and full of salt, which rusts shit if you don’t wash it right away. Plus all the washes are sketchy with potential flash floods.
