Hey all! Saw this section was without any threads yet and as a new member/instagram follower I thought I'd intro you all to my never-ending project. I'd love to do a full historic build thread on it one day to catch up to where I am at now, but wow does that sound like a lot of work.... lol. So for now I'll just say hi, drop in a few highlights, and leave a few pictures (from various stages of life). Questions welcome! If you have a 3rd gen pickup post it here! can't wait to see what the rest of you guys have.

Hell yeah! That thing is sweet! Something about those pickups when they’re built gets me excited. You don’t really see them built up to actually wheel with IFS very often. Those KM3 35’s look killer on it.

I know! I didn't want to end up with just another SAS. I was nearly bludgeoned to death by people telling me to swap it, but I wanted to do do something a little different. Ran across that TC kit as new old stock in a craigslist post and I had to jump on it.

I gotta sign up for a contest that gets me free KM3s
haha I could not believe my eyes when I saw the email telling me I won. I mean when does that ever happen?!?

You would think it’s a scam or something. But damn sweet rig man, there’s a special place in my heard for those old trucks

Think I've seen this on insta. Love it
Question, is the 22re really as bad as everyone says. I know it's slow but certain friends make it sound like a death sentence

If the truck is stock it has a good amount of get up and go but who the fuck is stock. My son had a 2.7l Pre-runner with 304k on it. Had bigger tires and tube bumper. When we went back to small tires before we sold it it was fun to drive again.

yaaa I have a 2.7 prerunner auto, that's already slow. Was his manual, I'd imagine that would make it a bit more fun

@Nicklovin Mine is a manual, with 5.29 gears turning 35s. I do have an open air intake, ported head, hopped up cam shaft, and tube header/cat back exhaust step up on my little 4cyl, so no complaints on power. Since the re-gear, I can run highway speeds and still accelerate without dropping out of 5th. Honestly, its bout your expectations and needs from the vehicle, and what you're happy with.
