As predicted. Haha. Did you try and pull it without cutting it first?

Yep. No fucking way it was coming out without cutting it. The cross members are slightly different between the runner and the Tacoma. I'll need to get a new bolt at some point, but there's enough red loctite and threads engaged that I'm just gonna keep an eye on it for my trip.

Okay lemme rephrase that. There's no way it was coming out without cutting unless we pulled the battery, the alternator, and the AC compressor.

Yeah. It's definitely sketchy. Haha. I drenched that fucker with loctite. Think I'm gonna have a new bolt shipped to Matt and then swap it in when I get to bishop so there's more threads engaged.

You got a part number? Perry Motors is the local Toyota dealer. Call them in the AM and it will be here by Thursday. Or you can ship it to my house if you want. It might not get here in time though. Bishop is always an extra day for Fed Ex and UPS.

I'll dig the part number up tonight. There's one in thousand oaks I could probably snatch up on the way but it's kinda out of my way.

Why not call another toyota dealership that’s on your route to try to get the bolt by Wednesday?

I could try that too. I meant to just order it when I was picking up steering fluid but dude was swamped. If they can get one in by Weds morning I can grab it before we leave and swap it out when I get to bishop.

Damn that's, expensive, just eyeballing it you could make that for way less piecing it together from Amazon

Did you already price out the cost if we DIY if we do 1/0 or 2?

These prices are without tax and only include the wires and connections. No welding goggle or welding rods.

I didn't bother pricing 1/0 because it is overkill. Or that's what you told me. lol

If we use 2 gauge it's $165.
If we use 4 gauge it's $135.

That's for the whole thing so divide that by 2 and that's what we'll each be paying. We should have done this a long time ago.
