Holy cow. When you drop into a beehive, that’s a new level of WTF.We were at the end of the track on my maps and I was going to drive up a little further (you can see the rocks in front of me) gave it a little gas and the front just dropped. Fucking ground caved in because there was a goddamn beehive.

Like a solid mounted diff?
And a super heavy duty crossmember next to the diff to keep this from happening again?
looks burly. If there's not enough room to stiffen it more ya gotta give it space to flex, or give it space to fill with more metalDesign one and I will buy 100 of them.View attachment 29638

That's the most Danny shit ever. The one hole in the trail and YOU hit it. Just like rocks. The one rock in the trail and of course you are the one that hits it lol

Already did that. My bigger "feet" are on the frame.I think you need a stronger frame and mounting points. Because that skid isn't the weak point.
I ended up with much larger 'feet' on the skid where it attaches to the frame, because I was denting the frame with the skid, and pushing it up, closer to the dif.
I suspect if you look at your frame you have the same thing happening...
That's pretty wild. What are the odds that you of all people drive INTO a beehive under the ground lolWe were at the end of the track on my maps and I was going to drive up a little further (you can see the rocks in front of me) gave it a little gas and the front just dropped. Have you actually MET Danny?!?!?That's pretty wild. What are the odds that you of all people drive INTO a beehive under the ground lol

That totally sucks!Gonna go with a firm tap on the IFS skid pushed up on the diff enough to cause the rear mount to pop through the frame. Rear mount is currently on the garage floor with the nut still attached.
I'm looking at this and I'm feeling fucking blessed af... More than a year ago I rammed my ifs skid into something definitely solid, and it sits crooked ever since. What I didn't do, I didn't connect the fucking dots to figure out a reason for knocking while turning. I thought maybe steering rack bushings or something. Nope. Skid was pressing against the front diff, and at full lock while frame was flexing, skid and diff were rubbing each otherDesign one and I will buy 100 of them.View attachment 29638

Apparently you missed the snapped RCV. That was brutal to hear.
I heard he blew a CV but I thought he was running OEM CV's because he thinks RCV is crap. lol
