Besides the extra width I don’t want, just the Added pain in the ass cvs, makes me back out of idea of going LT.

Other than the added travel, what else does LT do for you? I can add secondary shocks for the same price as LT for go fast and keep my width.

now that's a pro-tip. I'll check that out this weekend.

you're a bad influence.
I had the same issue @theesotericone had with his diff being bent and causing the inner CV's to break.

Also, yes I'm a great influence :flipoff:

Well when you already have a wide as rig, then LT is a bitch. I can do 3.5" over and still be the same width as @Tetten with his 2" over.

Adding another almost 50% shock travel. Whole long more length for dampening and tuning. Besides, I don’t know how you’d be able to get the rear to keep up without going full blown 4 link like @AssBurns did. You’ll out drive the rear like crazy and your 4 runner would be a bucking bronco back there

Ummm, more travel paired with bypasses and tuned shocks, will highly outperform stock width even with bypasses and tuned shocks. Plus the added stability is a bonus. Upgraded LCA's also helps keep the LCA from breaking as we have both experienced.

I'd have to do a custom mount with longer shocks for the rear and throw a 12" back there. The ADS extended travel has 9 1/2" of travel so i have high hopes for the current setup. The runner will never be a long travel rig, it's too heavy.

I did it for the additional wheel travel, it gets the tires off the frame, and gets me some more ride height. The tire poke helps a little too.

I'm mid travel rear so I can't go fast.

If I want a go fast rig I'll spend my 401k on making the Tacoma a long travel rig. Runner is a multipurpose rig.

The more I read about the headaches of LT the more I feel it’s best left to the 2wd guys

Same. That's why if it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen to the Tacoma and I'll spend the money on doing it right the first time.

Ummm what happened to all that OT you've been racking up? You's a rich boi now :flipoff:
Dam I wish, every penny has gone towards additional “surprise, go fuck yourself” bills. No extra money to spend on the rig really. Next year will be the time I’ll be able to drop some coin for shit I need

No carnage, but swapping my beadlocks around. I must of missed this gash last time I swapped tires, since I remember seeing the big chunk taken out after KOH, guess the chunk was more of shoved 1/4" into the wheel than actually ripped off. I didn't even do anything hard at KOH or go that fast and was running 20psi lol. Pound it out, or if it's a bitch just bolt the ring back on. YOLO
