Thanks man! This photo hurts me because your paint looks really nice otherwise.

I got a little more body damage from that little rock garden on the weekend. Quite similar to this. But my body is already beat, so.

My truck's paint was pretty much flawless 4 months ago. Don't worry, the odometer hit 13K miles driving home last weekend.

You might was well just join the BS in the SoCal BS Thread haha

I broke a UCA on the Golden Spike trail. I finished the last 6 hours of Spike and Gold Bar with a ratchet strap holding it together. Thought I had all the spare parts I needed but who brings a spare UCA?

SPC had problems with this happening with their first gen design. They have completely changed the design so it's not an issue now. SPC warrantied it and sented me a pair of the new design

Friday morning I tried finding an UCA in Moab but the fastest they could get one would have been Monday and ain't nobody got time for that. I had to be at work in Mississippi on Monday. So I through another ratchet strap on for safety, stayed on schedule and headed 6 hours to Flagstaff AZ to see the Grand Canyon the next day.

A buddy had a used SPC UCA and I had him overnight it to us in Flagstaff. I fixed it the next morning and continued on

My wife didn't really know what was going on, just that I "fixed it".
So the funniest moment of the whole trip was when we where almost back to Moab on Gemini Bridges road next to the 1,000 foot cliffs. I started falling behind and my buddy comes over the CB to ask if anything is wrong. I reply "Nah, I just don't want to fold a tire up and go over the cliff". My wife looks at me in shock an ask if that was a possibility. I tell her "Yeah, if that strap breaks"
I watched the seat disappear as she puckered up

@Hank breaks driveshafts all the time. I've been lucky with mine being shorter and more tucked, and my links protect the driveshaft pretty well. I just keep blowing the rear diff instead haha

Been awhile since you've blown a rear out. Helps when your 4wd works. Hahah

Yeah it's been over a year since the last diff has been replaced. Helps when it was cut apart and/or out of service half of this last year though.

Dude for real. I've been down more than up the last 6-8 months. I'm about over it.

I Just wanted to warn you guys about the dangers of BOAT BUSHES

It was after midnight and I went to go help a buddy load his broke rig on a trailer. I missed the turn to camp so I just went a different way. Apparently some one parked a boat there 10 years ago and it was well camouflaged.

Well that's fucking random. Not typically an issue out here. Hahah. Random boulders on the other hand can be an issue. Especially after a partially rainy season where the brush has overgrown.
