Whatever. That failure was up and down. Not side to fucking side. You know, because that's the force on a god damn spindle. lol
What about side loading? If it can break links and link mounts, it can bend spindles.
I didn't hear the argument, but I can tell you that spindles have loads in all directions. They even have loads front and back from hard braking.

Seems anti-climatic compared to a spindle, but did do some body work this past weekend.
Got some fresh snow on Saturday on top of old melted snow and ice. Add in rocks and some tight trees and voila.

The spindle was actually very anti-climatic. I was going threw a tiny rock garden. The steering wheel cocked a little but everything felt pretty normal. I went to hit the brakes to slow for a ledge and they went to the floor. That's when I knew something was fucked. Got out and found the tire leaning in and the spindle dead. lol

As I was driving home a late model ranger had the same failure but no roll over. They hooked a trailer to the hitch with a few people in the bed so they can drive it to the street on one front wheel. They pulled the lca, spindle, coilover., Triked it to the street. I was driving or I would of grab a pic. Felt like that crew are familar that that type of failure.
