I had a high angle boot on a cvj reman and it ripped within 6 months. I just reboot with oem (eBay) now.

With as many rocks that you have to stack, I would recommend steel toe boots for you.

What are you doing with your old axles?

If he is getting CVJ's he is probably sending his old ones as a core.

I was looking at the CVJ's myself last night. I need a trail spare. Their core charge is $95.

Dude I just find cheap ones on eBay with busted boots and redo them myself. My last one I got 40 bucks shipped. 2 sets of boots and grease is 50 bucks.

Seems that Napa is second best to OEM. Still good enough to get off the trail.

Exactly. Unless you're snapping them left and right. I usually carry 2 on harder trails, but I've been pussified this last year so I've only been carrying one.

I was filling out a wishlist for the 4runner and checked out the RCV axles. $1995. Holly shit. I think I'll get armor lockers and snap some OEM ones before I make that leap. I think I'll call it at 4. If i snap 4 OEM cvs I'll get the RCV's.

Just save the money and get Napa until you can afford RCVs. Of course, this is assuming your planning on wheeling it like you did the Zuk.
