Also for anyone curious, here's the dumpster fire @4runner DOA

So, you know what that dickhead who made that thread "So Blasting Members is OK", did to me? He posted a link to that ripoff write-up of my timing belt video on my YouTube video. So, I hid that dickhead from ever being to comment on my channel again. What a dick. I read and respond to most comments and questions that come in on my channel. I spend quite a bit of time on it. I like to get back to people as quick as possible because quite often they are in the middle of the job and they need help asap. I don't think many YouTubers are as responsive as I am to their viewers.

@Timmah! Hey man as a 1st Gen Tacoma owner I gotta say thank you for all your videos. My god are they longggg but they’re all oh so helpful.

Watched your video a couple times before replacing my valve cover gasket in the 3.4 a couple years ag

There was some discussion about it in the 1st Gen lunchtable thread and the general consensus is this sucks, everyone there loved your content

Keep making more videos and fuck tw, myself and all other 1st Gen taco owners will keep watching

Yeah, I would say our biggest criticism is how long our videos are, but we really don't want to confuse or lose anyone following our tutorials so we explain and describe things very thoroughly. I always tell people they can fast forward to shut me up and they can go to a part they need clarification on. I've actually had a fair amount of professional mechanics that was given us praise for our videos but there's also quite a few who are very critical. I'd say our biggest critics are the paid guys. Maybe they don't like the fact we are showing people how to get the job done without having to rely on the "Professionals". Anyway, we can't please everyone. Most people praise us for the detail we offer, but some hate us for it and they sometimes let us know how much they hate us. I just tell them, go find that 10 minute video for your timing belt job. Something tells me you'll be back when you're lost following their video.

Totally agreed. Yes it’s a bit of a mission to watch sometimes but it’s easy to jump around from part to part to figure out what you need to know. I do love how you give every last detail possible. Admittedly I skip sometimes but I always find myself back tracking to find something specific and you always provide so thanks for that

I will say this. I don't want to go to crazy with this truck. My daughter has claimed it for when she gets her license in 4 years. I told her that is fine but over the next few years we will fix it up and do the body work and repaint it together. I'm not just gonna give it to her, but I will make her work for it.

Then I can get a 4x. Kinda thinking Tundra so I can tow more. May add a plow and use it as a bulldozer to make trails wide enough.:D

Y'all wanna see Timmy's Tantrum?

Hmmm, is this a TW fan wishing a continuation of the Timmy bashing? Your use of the word "Tantrum" leads me to believe your motivation is you're hoping to make me look bad. Go ahead and post the whole thing. I have no regrets for blasting that a-hole for ripping off my content. Like I mentioned, I didn't have any major issues with the guy until I learned he was making money off of copying our content. Most people bashing me didn't even bother to compare my videos to his write-ups to see what I'm claiming. Some said how could I claim plagiarism when anybody can read the FSM. Well, the factory service manual needs to be interpreted and there's tool choices people need to make when the FSM instructs you to use a SST to perform a step. This guy who rips off my content consistently used the EXACT tools as me. Same brand, same model. That is not a coincidence. That's clear proof to me he used my video to create his write-up and then benefit from it. That, is a dirtbag move. I have every reason to be pissed off about this. Also, pretty much every person commenting aren't in my shoes. They don't know how shitty it feels to put so much effort into making a video just to have someone rip off your content.

Somebody at some point posted a screenshot showing he mentioned my channel in his timing belt write-up which was a total ripoff of my video. But, any mention of me in that write-up is missing now. He has mentioned me and linked my video in his rear axle seal/bearing write-up, which again is a total ripoff of my video. But, now that I know he's making money off the very part number lists and tool choices my videos provided him with, that really ticks me off. No amount of mentioning my channel and linking my videos in his ripoff write-ups of my work is enough. If he was just making write-ups for those that like write-ups and he wasn't making a profit off of them, I'd have little issue with the guy. I still don't like someone copying my work, but I wouldn't blast a guy for that. It's the fact he's profiting from ripping off our content.

So Dude, be my guest. Post it. As long as I'm not going to be banned if people start talking shit and I talk shit back, then it's all good. I'm a big boy. I could have deleted that thread when it was clear the mob was against me, but I didn't. The mods are the ones that stopped the commenting. The mods are the ones that also banned me when I made a sny remark to give that plagiarizing a-hole more shit. I guess they needed to protect their pal and screw me.

I fucking knew you were on that a-holes side. You're just like the peanut galley on TW. You don't get it. Until my videos came along, nobody, and I mean NOBODY put together a package like my videos do. They are a one stop shop. They provide everything. Part numbers, suggested tools, torque specs and every single step in detail start to finish. Does the FSM give you part numbers? Does the FSM give you tool choices you can actually buy? Does the FSM show you everything you need or is it more of a guide? They tell you to remove something but they don't always show you how to do it, do they? Dude, I know my content and I basically saw a carbon copy of my videos in his write-ups. That doesn't happen by coincidence. The guy actually admits he used my videos in his rear axle seal write-up. I also gave the guy a guilt trip for ripping off my timing belt video and barely giving me a mention. That's when he more prominently mentioned me in his write-up, which he at some point chose to remove. There's other videos he copied me, because again, before me, nobody documented the jobs like I did. So, he watches my videos, performs the jobs, takes his pictures and creates his write-ups. But, they are based off my work.

Dude, I debated this with guys like you and it was a serious waste of my time. For anyone willing to make a comparison between my work and his, you will see the proof. Until you do that, you're just giving an uninformed opinion.

@Timmah! the Tool. You put up a post on TW that sounded like a whiny bitch. Almost nobody agreed it was called for. Then you PM'd some of those that disagreed with you like a whiny bitch. Then you got banned and spammed FB like a whiny bitch. In that spam you said you where done with all forums but T4R. Then you create an account here and sound like a whiny bitch. See the pattern?

Hey Dudes, I was looking another forum to contribute to. I was recently kicked off Tacoma World for calling a guy out for ripping off my video content and it backfired on me. Yes, things got heated and some insults were exchanged via PM but I don't think I deserved a ban. Obviously one of the forum admins wasn't a fan of me. Anyway, I'm not looking to join a forum to cause drama. I like helping people and I like to learn new things. I'm here to help and learn and will hopefully be able to avoid any drama.

I operate a YouTube channel called Timmy the Toolman with my buddy Sean. A lot of you have probably heard of us, but if you haven't, we specialize in Toyota/Lexus SUVs and Trucks. We perform maintenance, repairs and modifications. Most of our content library is for the 3rd Gen 4runners and 1st Gen Tacomas but we have branched out a bit working on 1st Gen 4runners, 80 Series Land Cruisers, 100 Series Land Cruisers, Lexus LX470s, Lexus GX470s, FJ Cruisers, and Tundras.

Here's a link to my channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9EMiD9KPy61kJ6hdXcbjxA

I'm looking forward to contributing and learning from Y'all.

Timmy
Fuck Tacoma World and there mods.

That is all.
