This will help for snow but siping would help a lot too. I will probably sipe these closer to winter.

My 35s were so good siped and grooved. Much better on every terrain.
How well do they last when they are siped? Does it make a big difference in wear? I don't even know if tire shops do siping out here.

Generally speaking, siping tires actually help prolong their life, at least for road tires. It helps to dissipate heat which helps with wear. For this reason alone I always have spent the extra $$ to get this done when purchasing new tires. Anyway, off-topic.

I wonder if there are any shops around here that do tire siping. I don't know anyone locally that does it.

Any idea how much it costs per tire?
