Finally got the last of my order I placed a few months back. Last set of the SK X Frames came in. So far I’ve been very happy with them but not enough hard use to really form a non-bias opinion of them. The 6 point is strong but means you gotta make sure the box end is in the right orientation when trying to fit it in tight spots. So far that’s the only thing I’m not in love with but I’ll just have to get used to it.

With one way ratchets, I just remember which direction the open end leans to in relation to the direction the ratchet spins and tada I know if I need to flip it or not

Yeah I got that part down. Seems to be a common trend with pretty much all the ratcheting wrenches I’ve used so far. It’s just getting the 6 point to line up with the nut that is a little weird to get used to.

Ah I zoomed in and see what you’re getting at now. Seems you’re going to have to wiggle it a bit more than usual

toss the crescent wrench nut fuckers or keep em around for hammering bugs and throwing at stray cats/dodgeball jokes.

I use them for big stuff like link jam nuts or for shit I won't have issues fucking things up. I use them only when it makes sense. I use the biggest one the most since I don't have a complete set of big wrenches. I think I have up to 1-1/4" in SAE and up to 21mm in Metric. Sometimes it's easier to just get the nut fucker on there and get the job done when I can't use sockets.

Traffic was way worse on the way down.
@kasnerd got stuck on the 15 when there was a fire and a helicopter landed on the damn freeway. I got past just minutes before the the freeway shut down.

It was cool to see the new Sikorsky Firehawk in action..can drop multiple times. It would fly right above the fire, blow the smoke away, make a really tight go around and drop water. Was doing that 3x before having to leave the fight and go fill again. Really impressive. The helicopter was maybe 100-150' above the roadway and the fire looking like Fred Astaire dancing around. Super talented pilot. A few times it was so nose high almost looked like they were lost, drunk and trying to parallel park it.
