So, after making 50+ cuts with this saw on everything from some 11 gauge square tube to1/2" plate and even a piece of 1-3/4" chromo tube I only have one word. Wow.
Kicking myself in the ass for not buying it sooner. Cut quality is phenomenal. Angle cuts are accurate. Quick adjust fence and work clamp are huge time savers. I definitely cannot recommend this saw enough.

How do you think it will do on thick wall DOM?

I've used my LC1230 Makita to cut a lot of DOM 2"x 1/4" DOM and cut my 3.5"x 3/8" DOM axle housing to size without issue, Ur saw looks to b better quality mine, so far the only thing I've made a mistake trying to cut was an axle shaft, the saw didn't like that...

I read ur unit @Stairgod has issues with the deck plate being flat, have u found that to be true?

No sir. Deck plate is flat as I am capable of measuring.
Very minimal slop in the pin for the 45 and 90° stop. Both are accurate enough for the medium, but I wouldn't try cutting prefinished crown molding on it!

@Arcticelf I believe Nate from Dirt Lifestyle has the same saw and I know for a fact he cut his links for his Land Rover project on it.

Holly fuck; why didn't I buy one of those sooner?

I'll be curious to see how long the blade lasts, but it cuts 3.5x.25 DOM like butter, and regular tube like it's not there.
Same thing I asked myself.
I have emptied the chip tray at least three times and my blade is still good.

Anyone have a magnetic spray can holder they like? I'm thinking vertical over horizontal.

I have these new invention called shelf’s. They sit perfectly on them. I’d need shitload of those to hold all the cans of shit I have.
I was going to say the same thing lol
These look like a waste of space unless it’s in a trailer or something

I have a new innovation called not my house. Usually that includes a bunch of shit in the garage like a new, never used treadmill that's still in the box. That shit takes up space that would normally could be taken up by a shelf.
