Oh yeah you - what're your wheel/tire dims?

Ok, so that puts the outside of the tire about where it would be with a 16x8 with 3.5" BS.. (thinking about the rear clearance here and what you had to cut to stuff it.)
Are you on extended bumps in the rear?
I'm on @Plastics Guy extended bumps. I'm also on custom length rear Kings. When articulating the bumps contact the axle with about 1/2 of shock shaft left. When fully compressed without articulation the shock shafts only have about 1/4" showing. The rears dialed in pretty well so I'm getting the max amount of uptravel using the factory shock mounts.
Is your tire tucking in at all (ignoring the toe out - is it in at the top?)
Nothing will prepare you for this. Just start cutting and keep cutting. When you think you cut enough cut some more. Then get out the biggest hammer you have in the garage and keep going. Eventually you'll be able to cycle everything without rubbing. lol
Then start welding shit together. This is where I figured out I really suck at welding and call in a big favor to @AssBurns and had him finish the rears for me. lol
Also beat the shit out of your front inner fender with a BFH. Like the biggest one you own. After I was done my airbox wouldn't fit back into the factory mounts and my battery box had a gangster lean. Good times.
Congrats your now done. Go wheel. That's when you realize even with all the fucking work you just did you still rub every so often. lol
Depends how much you drive daily and how much you mind spending on gasI figure this will be the right place to ask / say this but am I a moron for thinking of putting 37s on my 4runner that is a daily and weekend offroader? I already have RCV axles and likely will be regearing to 5.29s and a ARB front locker. I recently bought a Millermatic 135 with a 60 cu argon/co2 mix so I'm ready to start fabbing.

Short commute and you got plenty of disposable cash? Go for it. Have fun
Yes, but at least you’re in good company!I figure this will be the right place to ask / say this but am I a moron for thinking of putting 37s on my 4runner that is a daily and weekend offroader? Ha!Yes. You still grumpy from missing the Dusy last year? lol
Ha!
So I should have said "yes" he is a moron for thinking about 37s?
They are very nice.Either or works in this instance. Would be nice if I could get my grubbie little hands on a 37 and a rim before buying a full set of tires / rims. Good thing I put a 1" body lift on and added an eimkeith bumper a while back. Those solo motorsports control arms sure do look nice.
