So I have this weekend with my wife and children away, so I’m going to be replacing my steering rack, lca bushings and my front diff. I know this is huge, but I think I can. That said any expert advice/tips are vey much appreciated. My real questions are the alignment afterwards on lcas and centering the steering. I’ve removed these from a past vehicle, but never put it back. Also any said experts or just folks who like to supervise are welcome over to my spot on the westside of Tucson, help is welcomed not required. Well the rig’s on stands time to wrench.

Mark your cams before you pull the LCAs off. Should help get you close to what you were.

So I removed the steering rack and diff(fing heavy). Now I’m about to take off the lcas and clean and prep for reinstall. I’m going to flush the ps pump and lines. Turns out I do need a hand getting the diff back in, any of you gents free today or tomorrow, HMU I’ll get the food and beer. My buddy who usually helps me is away with his Folks.

What side of town are you located? I have to run out and get some thing later and can help lift the diff in but only if you are close. I don't have that much time today and not in town tomorrow.

Run what you brung. @Plastics Guy was working on some bracket and bushings replacements but I think supply of brackets became an issue.
Thanks man. I got her in. Debating on rerunning the diff drop or not. Then comes the new rack and lcas with new bushings. I have plastics guy’s diff bracket bushings, but I hadn’t heard anything about that bottom one. I’m looking up torque specs now. Thanks again. I’ll have ya over to have a beer

Thank you sir, I’m always doing something. Though after this, I’m going to rest. Any tips on aligning the steering,

Ummmmm..... make it go straight....

There's a couple of diy alignment write ups out there. I usually just eyeball it and take some measurements until I can get it to a shop.
