I posted this to the other forum also.

Big shout to @chucklefunkk and another buddy who showed up with a jeep equipped with a winch. Both selflessly drove multiple hours to aid in a recovery attempt . Another big thanks to the U.S Airforce PJ (para rescue). I happened to roll my rig at the gap on a training exercise day! After a collaborated recovery effort, the taco was successfully rescued with NO Body damage! I could not have anticipated a better outcome!!

Big Thanks to everyone who offered to assist directly or Indirectly ! This incident was a true reality check. I was foolishly out there trying to recover someone else, and failed to consider the challenges that I was about to face. I went on this mission (with absolutely no experience at Sharleau) completely unprepared. @chucklefunkk asked me if I needed for him to come along but I didn't want him to have to call off work which he ended up having to do anyway. The truth is that I never seen the ditch (the gap) I drove into at 3AM. I never hit the brakes to slow down. My auxiliary lights were not working because my spod shit the bed.

As I mentioned before, it was a dumb move to even attempt it, but at the end of the day (well the next day) the community came together to save my ass and I am extremely grateful. Thank you!!

I have a buddy who's pararescue. Those guys go through some serious shit to get that title. You have no idea how bad ass those guys that recovered you truly are. Stoked you got it back without damage.

from what I know which isn't a lot actually, but it sounds like his passenger side lower Ball Joint bolts sheared and he was going to try and extract the Broken bolts from the hub/spindle. If that didn't work I believe that he found a spare hub/spindle to swap in to get back out. Unfortunately I've been slammed at work and haven't been able to get out to help. It is a medium hard trail that he in on, and He is pretty far in and so there is no fast way to get to him. If it comes to to I I will pull the spindle off of my 2000 and take it out to get him out on Sunday.
