Got the sliders and frame plates burned in today courtesy of the one man workshop Chad (@BashFab on IG)

Couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. Probably going to clear coat the frame plates and rattle can the sliders this weekend.

Just needs skids and the 4x4 is trail ready!

Wish I could, he’s leaving town tomorrow for Colorado. Him and his GF are traveling the US. He’s from South Carolina and they have been on the road for like 9 months while he recovers/recovered from shoulder surgery. Was up in Seattle for a few months prior to AZ.

Wish I hit him up sooner, he was here for like 2 months with not much to do while his GF worked at TMC, but I wasn’t sure what he had with him. Could’ve helped with my rear shock relocate and maybe been one of those Coastal Offroad diy bumpers

I have same welder and I love it. I paid $400 nos off Craig’s list. You’re going to like it , I’ve done 1/4” down to 20gauge with no issues on flux core. I’m hoping to get the gas soon

Actually it’s only a 30 amp machine, but uses a 50 amp breaker

That's what I paid for it $400. I was going to buy a tank today but decided against it. The thickness goes down with gas. It's always windy at my house so gas is a no go.
