Don't blame ya man...one of my childhood buddies was assigned over in K-bay with his reserve recon unit. The gunny at his unit was always trying to screw over guys for promotion and seeking higher learning in fear they would have to replace them. It was pretty nuts how far this gunny went to try to sabotage my buddy at finishing out his degree. You know its bad when half the experienced operators transferred to the Army just to get out of the bullshit. No offense to any Army guys, but for a marine to make that switch is pretty epic.
Yea I had a beautiful recruiting pitch to the Army side of fun ops from a Ssgt Todd but at the end of the day I was bitter and went to the state department for a few years.
