Looks like I'm leaking coolant. Water pump? Think I'm good for 5 days in death valley? Temp has been normal and there's coolant in the resivoir.

Thought number 2. When we ran out to Barstow a month ago to go shooting I kept smelling something when we got to town after a couple hours of driving. Was thinking brakes, but now I'm convinced it was coolant burning off on the block. I had filled my reservoir the day before because it was low. Maybe when it heated up, it expanded, and puked out the extra. Haven't smelled it since.
Even more interesting. I might be fine.
No one was chiming in fast enough. Hahaha. Think I'm good?
Two things, is it still leaking? If so, how much or how often?

Don't think it's still leaking. I haven't smelled anything and I drove it to the brewery Thurs night.
Sorta sweet yeah. It went away after some dirt time. Reservoir is still full.
Carry extra coolant and keep an eye on it. You'll be fine
