Sometimes you need an excuse a to why you weren't wheeling or fixing your broken shit.

This weekend was both for me. I should be fixing my 4runner right now since I should have been out wheeling this weekend. But I'm tired of working on it, so I did some other work around the house this weekend.

First I replaced the spark plugs and an ignition coil on the Lexus. Then I started cleaning the garage and noticed I have way to much shit on my workbench. So I went to the store and bought some stuff to make shelves. Made some shelves and drank a bunch of beers. Then went to a friends house and drank way too many beers.
Today I woke up late and hung over, so I didn't really want to do much. I went to my brothers house to pick up my daughters quad that's been there since New Years. Then saw it was snowing so I drove up the hill to see more snow. Then went to the store for more shelf stuff. Built another shelf for my wife. Cleaned the garage. Fixed my air compressor, fixed the leaky carb on the quad, smoked a bowl and haven't done anything since haha

Not the most productive weekend, but still had a good time. Coulda had a much better time if I was out wheeling with @Hank and @theesotericone yesterday.

I drove almost 4 hours to recover the shit I left at camp last weekend. Does that count as working on things?

I'm still missing a snatch strap but I haven't cleared the 4runner completely yet.

I'm working on getting @AssBurns @Tetten @4runner DOA to fix their shit so we can all get some wheeling in.:headwall:

No rain tomorrow and I don't have shit planned so I'll probably throw her up on stands and pull the 3rd to fix my locker. While the driveshaft is disconnected I'll push the axle back more and pull my coils in anticipation of correctly setting up my bumps and axle position.

I’ve got your strap, found it cleaning out the rig yesterday.
Also did you just have to show up randomly to get your stuff hahah. I had no room otherwise I would’ve taken it

Ah cool. Wish you'd had room for all of it, you're much closer. Hahaha.

Sorta. I told him I'd be there Sunday, then told him I may not make it Saturday night. Got up Sunday and we decided to wait to do the 3rd so I shot him a text saying I'd be there in a few. His phone was dead, so he didn't know I was coming.

The “not offroad vehicle” part has me very confused.
Like what are you working on (besides your offroad vehicle)?
Does my trailer count?
If you are not working on your rig or wheeling, then yes.
Almost done with this horse cover. This took a month away from working on the truck. Then the rain came, lol.

Looks like a ton of work. How do you cut those big beams? never really thought about what tool is used to cut something that thick.

Luckily I didn't need to do the wood work beside help lift those beams up with the bobcat. It's a 12x4. You go around the whole thing with a circular saw and cut the center with a sawzall. The pic is from about a month ago. It's almost done now. Just need to grab a pic.

If you are married there is a non ending list that you don't even fill out of things to do that don't pertain to shooting, wheeling, grilling or drinking.

I know that list well. The most amazing thing about it is it's self-populating. I knock off 8 out of 10 things and there's still ten fucking things on that list. Literally never fucking ending. lol

I have a list in my head. Sometimes I do it, sometimes I remember 6 months later.
