We'll get along just fine. I have an 18 year old Kleen Kanteen that never leaves my side. It's the only place I ever put stickers. The first one ever put on it was when I left the east coast to go on an extended climbing road trip. That trip ended up lasting damn near 6 years. This is what the sticker said:

Not all who wonder are lost.

PS: I would have just quoted that wall of text you posted but the important line needed to be solo. lol
That sounds like my kind of trip! I love the unexpected and spontaneous things that evolve a life of their own.

Our dream vacation involves a plane ticket to Dublin and a ticket home from Naples. With no reservations and 3 weeks to get from Ireland to Italy.

Usually how I do it. My fellow traveler hates that shit, something about organization and blah blah blah....
Yeah I got super lucky with Lisa. She’s down for just spending the entire day in some shitty bar in the bad part of town and talking to the locals.

Then we end up shitfaced and praying to keep all our organs. So far so good - I haven’t woken up in a bathtub full of ice yet.

My wife and I do that kind of stuff too. We love just dropping into some random town at a local dive bar or brewery and just watching or talking to the locals. We did that in Bishop once and spent like 5 hours in a dive bar/saloon and chatted with some old ass hay balers the whole time. I got hammered (wife was pregnant at the time), and ended up camping at south lake for the night. It was good times on a trip that turned into nothing but a clusterfuck of events. We still managed to have a lot of fun.

Fuck yeah. Those are the best vacations. Just goin with the flow. And takin the hits as they come. Good company makes for a good time no matter what’s happening around you.
We ended up in some biker bar in Pismo Beach or Morro Bay during our first anniversary trip. The band would only play surfer music no matter how much everyone complained. After an hour or two I thought they were gonna get killed by these bikers at the bar. I either blacked out there or we left eventually. I don’t quite remember which, but we did sleep in the car that night somewhere along the PCH.

If y'all make it to the east coast you have an open invitation to wheel with us.

Double marks if you bring a T4R that doesn't break every trip

Can you define ‘east coast’?

Lisa and I recently moved to Columbus, OH and looking for good wheeling anywhere within say 10 hours drive.

I'm in Philadelphia, mostly I wheel in PA, VA, WV. Probably on the edge of 10 hours.for you, but I expect to drive between 2 and 6 hours to hit the trail.

Yeah we could hit any of those states easy. We’re 7.5 hours from Philly.

Wow I always thought uberfahrts were guys who pissed on each other’s wheels this whole time... now I’m embarrassed.

It’s a right of passage. Territory marking so no one confuses who’s part of the team or not.

I may have to ship you a bottle of my piss.

Mad wicked pissa.

Hit up the PA BS thread, until we get our shit together and start a dedicated thread for wheeling trips that's where we'll be talking about trips.
