When I lived in PA, I did heavy towing and roadside repairs. We got called out to clean up a rollover on I-80, heavy tow truck and dump truck for cargo. The truck was loaded with apples. I was so tired of eating apple everything that I made a potato gun and was shooting the apples at the deer in the field. That was fun til they started to soften and would turn to applesauce in the barrel. The deer love the snacks but hated being shot at.
It really fucks them up when you actually hit them, but they live

Alright help me out here. I'm trying to get a toyota yaris thats been sitting a while to start. Just put in a new battery, when I put the key in I get the door chime, turn the key to "run" and all the lights come up but nearly immediately turn off. All fuses are good, battery tests good. I just don't know what can cause everything to get power but then instantly shut off.

Bad cables? They do have some corrosion on them. I got the corrosion off the terminals themselves with some water and baking soda.

Did you check voltage on that new battery?
12.4VDC with enough cranking amps will start it.
12.1vdc will act like an asshole

Is it an asshole like my Jetta that has an alarm and if the battery dies and I open my unlocked door then the alarm triggers and I have to close the door, lock it then unlock it once the battery has juice?

Maybe a bad terminal. If might be a cheap folded over metal thing instead of a solid block of metal. In that case a replacement from the auto parts store is all you need. Happened on my wife’s Venza

Terminals are aftermarket from the prev owner.. Not getting good continuity through them. Got a replacement ordered.

Hah! I just had a client call me and tell me that he wants to move forward with me instead of the other lender he thought he was getting a better deal with.

So a few weeks back I got this client Pre-Approved for a specific amount. He decides to write an offer $50k higher than what I had him Pre-Approved for. I told him that I can't make it work with his current credit situation and even if we got his scores up it still requires 20% down. Well he didn't like what I had to tell him so he went with another lender that told him what he wanted to hear. He didn't get his offer accepted on that house but a week later he got an accepted offer on another house. Turns out the other lender pulled the whole bait-n-switch tactic on him. He now has to put 20% down instead of 15% PLUS pay off his $25k auto loan in order to get an approval on this house he already put down a $19k deposit on. That's about $60k difference from what he was initially told.
Borrower calls me back up super stressed out and asks my opinion. I'm able to possibly make 15% down happen (Might need 20% down if his scores don't get up high as we are expecting) WITHOUT paying off any auto loans, and give him a way better interest rate. Funny how that happens when you talk to some that tells you what you want to hear instead of what you need to hear.
