Never run the mojave road? Travelers monument is in the middle of soda lake. Soda lake is basically a salt flat. When it rains the road and surrounding area turn into a slushy mix of mud and salt. It was some dude in another group that passed us because we stopped for lunch. Since it's a nature reserve you're supposed to stick to the roads. He got a wreckless driving ticket instead of destruction of habitat ticket which would have been about 1000 bucks.
Never done it. It seems like a fun trip especially if you have LT.
I see why he got a ticket now. People are dumb. Anyone that does donuts in the mud is already kinda dumb in the first place.
What's even more retarded is we all passed the ranger on the way there. I stopped and talked to him for a minute about conditions and he was like yep I'll let you guys go ahead based on your rigs but see you shortly. The other two groups behind us talked to him too so they all knew he was driving through.

I was just fucking with @AssBurns because he was there when my front end was smashed in and I made it up chocolate thunder without my radiator.
It helped that it was cold as fuck at 30* or less that night.
Man so not really much in the way of anything hardcore by any means, but this week has been a blast taking the Tacoma out and aiding the Shreddy guys do some filming. We ran into them in our area and they needed some guidance so we took them up Imogene trail in telluride for some awesome footage and pics. Then to Moab for more of the same. Wilkey had my wife hop in and they were set on destroy for a few hours of filming. She couldn’t get the smile off her face but Felt like a car wreck today, understandably. Got them hooked up with Rich from Trail Hero in sand hallow for next few days and I’m back doing work in the shop bummed we couldn’t keep going and finish the trip. Dudes were super chill and fun. My dogs were cuddled up with them when they stayed with us, and were looking for them the next day. Awesome time. Anyway. Here’s some grabs.

Yeah man it worked out cool. All the guys were real chill, was like just filming and kicking it with old friends. We were stoked when they asked if we would join in Moab and be a part of it there as well. Wanted the wife to be a part of their show they were doing and needed someone who knew area. Was awesome. Definitely some of the nicest guys. And that thing is stupid nasty. Lots of weird feelings in my pants when it bounces some limiter.
