You still haven’t completed the trail have you?

In the sense of finishing it, yes. In the sense of that last crawl section, no. Haven't had the people with me that were capable or I trusted the last couple times..

Wtf happened

I had a ‘71 Land Cruiser with a Cheby 350. The carburetor sucked donkey balls and stalled the engine on the slightest incline. So naturally, I fucked with the carb, it was leaking, and on the first decent incline, caught fire. Luckily I had a watchful spotter and onlookers who noticed the fire in time.

I took off my hood and managed to make it through the trail while keeping an eye out for any more fires.

Still haven't done gold. Seems like someone breaks down every weekend so I've avoid doing it.
I barely did that trail for the first time a few weeks ago. It’s fun but not that fun. It definitely seems to be a trail that people break a lot on, which is kinda weird since it’s mostly easy with some moderate sections and semi-difficult line options. The views of the lake were cool though. It would be a fun trail with the right group that is fast paced.

People skinny pedal it up the obstacles. Alex broke his rear diff (again) last time we were out there. I split off because my front alignment was fucked up after dishpan and holcomb (turned out to be a bent front LCA but I got my alignment good enough to get home) and @Tetten and @Hank continued on with Alex to Gold. Last time we were in the area we were going to run it but then we figured with turn around time it would take us forever to get back to camp. So @PermaBan and I ran 2n06x to Holcomb instead.

In the "parking lot" about halfway up Santiago Peak. I think this would be considered a "Golden Hour" picture? :noidea: I like it because my original intention wasn't to capture the horizon reflecting on the rear window until I showed my sister the picture later on and she pointed it out. Ended up being a better pic than I had originally planned as far as me liking it.

Anyways...
